Our Baltimore area skin care specialists offer several types of skin peels and specially treatments for environmentally damaged, acne prone, hypersensitive, and oily skin, as well as aged, discolored, and blemished skin. Chesapeake Plastic Surgery Associates can give you the rejuvenated appearance you've always wanted.
The Obagi® Nu-Derm System corrects various types of blemishes and surface discolorations. It is able to penetrate the skin, improving circulation, stimulating skin cell renewal, and rebuilding collagen. Contact our skin care specialists to learn more about the Obagi® Nu-Derm System.
An Obagi® Blue Peel can dramatically improve the health and appearance of your skin. The treatment uses a low concentration of trichloretic acid (TCA) combined with a slow penetrating blue base to remove damaged layers of skin from the face and other parts of the body. This treatment involves five to ten days down time. To learn more about Obagi® Blue Peel, contact our Baltimore area skin care specialists.
The micropeel is a three-step process that removes the micro-thin top layer of skin. It combines a physical or enzymatic exfoliation, followed by the application of a 15 to 30 percent alpha hydroxy acid solution. The micropeel is completed with cryogenic therapy, which causes an anti-inflammatory response and allows the skin to look smoother. This treatment may be recommended for environmentally damaged, acne prone, or hypersensitive skin types. For more information on micropeel, contact our Baltimore area skin care experts.
The micropeel plus is a salicylic acid peel, which stimulates the skin's renewal process. Visible peeling will occur two to four days following the treatment. This treatment is recommended for most skin types, and is especially good for those with oily skin. For more information on micropeel plus, contact Chesapeake Plastic Surgery Associates.
