As Chesapeake Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics celebrates its 30th year of excellence, we introduce Dr. Haven Barlow as our new Chief Surgeon. Both Dr. Barlow and our Medical Director, Dr. Gil Armiger are world-renown cosmetic surgeons, recognized for their surgical talents and aesthetic philosophy in plastic surgery. Dr. Barlow focuses on facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation and reduction, abdominoplasty and body contouring with liposuction.

Dr. Haven Barlow combines his appreciation of art and design with his professional commitment to achieving each patient's desired results. While always keeping in mind his patient's goals, Dr. Barlow strives to achieve beautiful, balanced results. His ultimate goal is to enhance his patients' natural beauty and have a positive effect on their lives.

As a faculty member of the Georgetown University Department of Plastic Surgery and Chief of Plastic Surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Dr. Barlow is actively involved in teaching current and future cosmetic surgeons. Washingtonian Magazine has recognized his excellence in plastic surgery, selecting him as one of their "Top Doctors" and "Top Cosmetic Surgeons" since 1992. Dr. Barlow is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Haven Barlow is active in church and community outreach and charitable programs. He helps change the lives of our challenged youth by volunteering for Girls, Inc., and removing stigmatizing tattoos on kids trying to leave the gangs for a better life. Dr. Barlow has participated in numerous surgical missions around the world by helping children in foreign countries with birth defects. He and his wife, Amy, have 11 children.
