Education and Training
Dr. William G. Armiger received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and did his post-graduate studies in head and neck reconstruction at Roswell Memorial Institute in New York, a center widely cited for its cancer research and facial reconstruction divisions. He also was hand selected from a field of more than 250 applicants to work with Dr. Robert McCormack, a world-renowned plastic surgeon at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. Dr. Armiger’s training was completed in 1978, the same year he came to the Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland area, his home of many years.
