During your cosmetic
surgery consultation at Chesapeake Plastic Surgery Associates, Dr. Armiger thoroughly discusses the internal
structural corrections and external aesthetic enhancements that can benefit you. All three cosmetic surgery
specialists at our Baltimore , Maryland and Washington , D.C. , area offices are certified by the American
Board of Plastic Surgery. Additionally, all of our doctors can use advanced computer imaging to evaluate a
patient's attributes and determine an effective and personalized treatment plan. Computer imaging is a useful
tool used to plan your surgical or nonsurgical procedures and can give you a good idea of how you will look before and after treatment.
The cosmetic surgery team at our Washington , D.C., and Baltimore , Maryland area offices encourages patients to ask questions during your consultation so you can make an informed decision about your treatment. About a week before your surgery you will meet with Dr. Armiger to review any concerns or last minute questions.

In other words, you should leave your consultation with a full understanding of your cosmetic surgery procedure. During the process, you may have computer imaging, photos, and skin analysis performed. Most importantly, you will get to discuss your concerns about cosmetic surgery . At our Baltimore , Maryland and Washington , D.C. , area offices, an examination will also be performed and realistic expectations will be discussed. Together, both doctor and patient will explore all possible surgical and nonsurgical options.
You will be introduced to our patient care coordinator who will assist you each step of the way. She can answer any specific questions you may have, discuss cosmetic surgery financing, help you with scheduling, and assist you in preparing for your actual surgery.
Some patients need additional support before cosmetic surgery. We encourage you to ask questions and to turn to us for assistance. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
You will receive an individualized post-op packet at least two weeks before your scheduled surgery date. The packet will provide you with everything you need to know in order to prepare for this very special date. The night of your surgery, a member of our certified nursing staff will stay over in your home to monitor you and to make sure you are comfortable. This allows you not only to recuperate in the comfort of your own home, but also to have a trained professional watching over you.
We will strive to make your recovery from cosmetic surgery as convenient, quick, comfortable, and confidential as possible. Home visits by a nurse or a physician will be provided whenever indicated.
